I'm busy with theater and independent film these days. Here's the latest.

Jerry Springer: The Opera

From its phenomenal success in London and New York, Jerry Springer: The Opera is finally coming to Northern California. Based on Springer’s lurid television talk show that ran for an unbelievable 28 seasons, this smash-hit production combines the highest form of art and the lowest form of pop culture. I play a contestant, Chucky and return in the second act as biblical Adam. (Feb 22 to March 17 at San Jose Playhouse)

The Mystery of Edwin Drood

A wildly entertaining whoodunit set in Victorian England, I play the Rev. Septimus Crisparkle. All pastoral care on the outside, Crisparkle boils with a long-concealed passion. Did he murder Drood? At the end of the show, the audience gets to decide. (Presented by Lamplighters Musical Theater at the Douglas Morrison Theatre in Hayward and at the Presidio Theater in SF May 10-19.)
