MARK P.  ROBINSON

Jazz Standards

LK1_6078 copy (1)_edited_edited.jpg

Classic.

American.

Song.

With the swing of Sinatra, the soul of Hartman, and the cool of Connick, Mark Robinson delivers sophisticated jazz crooning. Called "one of the most exciting additions to the Bay Area vocal scene in recent years," Robinson follows in the footsteps of the midcentury masters while putting his own stamp on every phrase. As All About Jazz put it: "Like the very best in this game — Sinatra or Tony Bennett — Robinson makes it all sound so effortless."

Next Gig

I'm making my way back to jazz gigs and very busy with theater and film. Next up: the world premiere of Before the Sword, a new play commissioned by New Conservatory Theatre Center of San Francisco. Set in 1936 England, it tells the story of what led T.H. White to write The Sword and the Stone. We open September 15, 2023. Dates, tickets, and more info here.
